Location of Karukaparampil Family. (Pandy, Near Edathua)

Karukaparampil Family, a prominent Roman Catholic Syrian Christian family, has its root in the Kottayam District. From there our forefathers shifted to many places and a part of them settled near Edathua, a village in the Kuttanadu region. Our ancestors mainly focused on agriculture and Trade, lived in nearby places peacefully and happily. The family members are now spread across nearby regions including Pandy, Edathua, Thalavady, Changanassery, Pulincunnoo, Karukachal, Tiruvalla, Kottayam. This website is made by and for descendants of VARKEY and MARY, who lived in Edathua. The website cover information about their 3 children (Joseph, Thomas, and Anna) and their lineage. All members of the family are well educated and play a pivotal role in their respective fields. The majority of the members adheres to Syro Malabar Catholic church and a minority to the Pentecostal denomination of Protestant Church. Karukaparampil family is related to many other families in the Kuttanad region.

The first child of Varkey, Joseph married Mariamma from Lahayil Family, Nedumkunnam in Kottayam District. The second child, Thomas married Annamma from Kochupurayil Family in Puthukkery, Alappuzha district.

Technology has progressed and at the same time, people have become busier with their life. This has caused one to know only cousins, but no idea about all relatives. To eliminate that, the younger generation of the Karukaparampil Family decided to make a website that has a provision to add all members and new members. Thus this website was developed and the family has started a digital platform where members can find each other. We are happy to be on pace with the digital era!
